I've purposely made this anonymous and redacted correspondence that would otherwise reveal people and places. I don't know where this experiment will go in the end, but at the outset it's about documenting positive and negative experiences as the Casual Guy gets involved in the political arena as a concerned citizen. Suffice to share that this is within a Canadian jurisdiction.

The letters below are in reaction to each candidate's online platform and addresses issues they've specifically addressed. I've not raised the issues to them; this is strictly a reaction to what they've proposed to be important enough to campaign on. Where there's overlap, I've maintained consistent messaging, verbatim wherever possible.

They'll have had six weeks prior to the election to reply - more than enough time, I think. However, I expect to get a non-commital, virtually meaningless response, if any. I'll share whatever I get.

NOTE: This is really an exercise at the municipal political level to assess one casual guy's attempts to be part of the process. This isn't a platform of my own to push my own agenda. Let's see where this takes us!
